The Taiwan Civil Government will continue to work with all concerned local and international groups, associations, agencies, foundations, think-tanks, etc. to promote the correct recognition of (1) Taiwan's international legal status and (2) the nationality of native Taiwanese people.
In 2013, offices are being set up throughout the island of Taiwan to promote the issuance of new ID cards. For more information see New TG IDs.
The hiring of personnel for TCG's Washington D.C. Office was begun in January 2013. The Washington D.C. staff will coordinate with all relevant U.S. government agencies and the U.S. Congress to ensure the advancement of our agenda.
